How to bleach and dye my black hair and go from dark brown to light brown?

How to dye my black/dark hair?

I have to say that is not something so easy, because for an optimal result ( unfortunatly), you have to bleached them first or try a very very light color but you'll never know how it will work with your hair, it depend of the thickness and the products you used before.

For me, I had to remove my former hair dye, a dark ash brown. So, there is 3 steps before having beautiful hair. You can skip the first step on natural hair.

I'm not a professional, this is just the way I color my hair.

1. Remove your existing color

2. Bleach

3. Color

It's a long process but I already tried "special" hair dye for dark hair but it doen't work at all!!!! The results were just terrible, even with brands like L'Oreal Hicolor or feria. It really sucked!
